The Reality Headset trains the mind to appreciate vision like a new product. Glimpses of the world through the reality headset are cropped, making small things seem like the only things - allowing for focus, simplicity, and no periphery. The nose cutout secures the headset to the face during all types of movement. Circle and square doors are each opened with a different movement: The circle door is opened by rotating your head sideways. It was given a circular shape to emphasize this rolling movement. The square door is opened by either looking straight downward, or flipping your head upwards to throw it open. Because this hinge operates similarly to a swinging door, it only made sense for it to be rectilinear.
